We are currently hiring:
5 Moderators
1 Head Moderator
1 Assistant Head Moderator
3 Admins

You must read all of the requirements and post the whole application before sending, if you skip a question or put a poor answer we will ignore your whole application. Once you have read the requirements please copy and paste the below application in an email to apply@mctoday.net

Read Before Sending Us Your Application - Or we will ignore your application.
As of update twelve we have made it harder to apply for staff, grammar must be 100% perfect and there must be the correct number of words in each question. Even the slightest of errors will result in your application being denied. (E.G: "i" instead of "I") So don't just send us a rushed application, this shows that you don't really care about our server, you just want staff. You should spend at least two hours typing this application. Before you say "I don't have time" - Yes you do, you have plenty, you're just lazy, you could spend 20 minutes a day typing it. We expect all questions to be answered using full English grammar with an explanation. It could take us up to two weeks to review your application and we will send you a reply using a colour code. Answers marked in red have to be resent and answers marked in green are good quality answers.

Remember, your application shows us how well you care about this server. If you have used poor grammar we will ignore your application. Using poor grammar, incorrect spellings, slang, emotions or rushing this application tells us you don't really want staff.

To apply for staff you must fill out and send the following form to apply@mctoday.net:

Section One - Basic Information:
1) IGN (In Game Name)
2) Age and date of birth
3) Rank
4) Gender
5) Nickname (Optional)

7) Skype (Required)
8) Real Full Name (For Our Records only, we will never publish this or call you by your real name)
9) Time Zone (UTC If Possible, if you don't know you should Google it)
10) Country

Section Two - What We Need To Know
1) How much have you donated in total? (GBP, £ if possible, if not please state which currency)
2) Will you be active and have you been active?
3) What languages do you speak? (You must be able to speak fluent English)
4) When supporting users who may not speak fluent English, will you use formal or informal language?
5) How long have you played Minecraft?
6) Do you expect instant promotion and how long do you think it will take before you are made trainee?
7) Do you play any other servers? If so, which server do you visit the most?
8) What rank are you aiming for and why? (Choose one rank only)
9) Are you willing to work with staff and management in improving our server?
10) What ranks have you already been?

Section Three - Server Knowledge
1) Please list the four management categories (Staff-Director, ***-Director, ***-Director & ***-Director. Not the management team, the management categories. (These are not names, If you post account names we will ignore your application.
2) Who are the five management team?
3) What moderator commands do you already know?
4) What are the ten rules listed at spawn? (Write them fully)
5) Who is the head moderator and who is the head admin?

Section Four - Opinions
1) What is the most important rule to you?
2) Is there anything you dislike about our server? (You must post at least three things you dislike)
3) Is there anyone you dislike on the server? (This will not effect your chances of promotion)
4) Is there anyone who inspires you on the server? (Please post one person and why, do not choose anyone from the management team)
5) What do you think needs changing on the server? (You must post at least three things you feel need changing)

Section Five - Helpfulness
1) In one hundred words or over, please post why you would like to become a member of staff. (Emotions and slang are not classed as words and will be taken from the total)
2) In one hundred words or over, please post how you will improve the server. (Emotions and slang are not classed as words and will be taken from the total)
3) In one hundred words or over, please post how you will support users which require help. (Emotions and slang are not classed as words and will be taken from the total)
4) In one hundred words or over, please post what your target is on our server. (Emotions and slang are not classed as words and will be taken from the total)
5) In one hundred words or over, please tell us what you will do if you get caught in an awkward situation. (Emotions and slang are not classed as words and will be taken from the total)

Section Six - Requirements
Write yes or no next to the requirements below, please also write a short explanation next to your answer.
1) You should be at least fourteen years of age.
2) You should have your own server forums account.
3) You should have been on our server for at least five months.
4) You should be an active member of the community, you accept that if you are inactive for longer than fourteen days without giving us notification first you will lose your staff rank,
5) You must be mature to deal with any problem the user may have.
6) You must use formal language when supporting a user, you may use informal when talking to friends.
7) You accept that we will use the five steps system on you if you break any rules. (Read about the five steps here)
8) You must kick, ban or mute with good reasons (E.G: "Grief (Block-Break)" is a good example but "The ban hammer has spoken" will not be accepted.)
9) You accept our rules, premium rules, staff rules and payment agreement.
10) You should not tolerate any disrespecting of the rules, even if it's your friend breaking them.

1) Where it says "Read before sending us your application" prove to us that you have read it by summarising it.
2) Around how long did you spend on this application?

Make sure your application form is as detailed as possible. We will only put the best of applications towards training. If you have used slang, incorrect spelling or grammar, poor English or emotions we will also delete and ignore your application. If you answer a Yes/No question write an explanation next to Yes/No for a better chance of being hired. If you type less than 100 words in section five, we will ignore your application.

Note: We check our application email once a week and reply once a week.
